Abilene Boot Co., Inc. was incorporated in July 2002. Abilene was able to acquire all assets of B.B. Walker Co. and Bender Shoe Company, which were in bankruptcy. Abilene has set up their company and was packing production by mid-September, 2002. When Abilene Boot Co, Inc. started in the fall of 2002, there were 23 full-time production workers. Since that time, we continue have continued to grow. What started out as just 26 different styles of western cowboy boots is now comprised of over 100, including western, work, biker and packer styles.
